About the Course
Ready to buy your first home and have some fun doing it? This 1.5 hour group class covers homebuying essentials like mortgages, down payments, touring homes, and contracts. Then, you will learn a fun line dance routine. Perfect for a social night out at a country bar or to impress your bedroom mirror!

Lesson 1: Purchase Prep & Put the Gun Down
Taught by Mortgage Lender and line dance instructor, Cameron Dahman. Learn about lending, PITI, interest rates, and how debt and credit score affect your mortgage. Then, learn the Put the Gun Down line dance to ZZ Ward's song Put the Gun Down.
Lesson 2: House Hacking & High Class
Learn about how tenants can help with your mortgage and how to turn your home into an asset. Then, learn the High Class Line dance to Eric Paslay's song High Class.
Lesson 3: Showings & Shivers
Learn what to expect while house shopping and how to establish your home buying criteria and whether an HOA is right for you. Then, learn the Shivers line dance to Ed Sheeran's song Shivers.
Lesson 4: Working the Contract & Whiskey Drinkin'
Gain an understanding of the purchase offer, the role of a title company, and what to expect during the under contract phase. Then, learn the Whiskey Drinkin' line dance to the Mikel Knight's song Whiskey Drinkin'.

Frequently Asked Questions
When Should I Arrive?
Come 15 minutes early (6:45pm) if you want food or drink. Don't forget to BRING YOUR ID!
Where to Go?
The class will be held near the indoor pickleball courts. Enter through the front entrance, turn right, then turn left and continue toward the indoor pickleball courts. It's an open space with tables and a large TV screen.
What to Bring?
The first 45 minutes will be a sit down lecture class. Bring whatever you like to take notes with (paper/laptop/your friend's arm...)
What to Wear?
I love cowboy boots! However you can wear whatever is comfortable to you, but I highly recommend close-toed shoes with a slippery bottom.
Do I Have to Order Food or Drink?
No, you do not have to order any food or drink at the venue. If you would like to, PLEASE get there 15 minutes before class starts.
If I Order an Item, How Long Will I Have to Finish It?
You will have the first 45 minutes of the lecture portion for the Home Buying Class. Try to have drinks/food finished before the dance portion.
Will We Be Learning Choreography?
Yes! You will learn a set sequence of steps that repeats throughout the song, allowing everyone to dance together in sync. Each week is a new choreographed line dance.
What If I Miss a Class?
If you miss a class, you will receive notes and slides from the home buying portion and a recap video of the dance lesson. That said, please do your best to attend all 4 classes. Line dancing takes repetition and practice. Attending consistently will give you the best chance to feel confident and comfortable by the end of the course.
Full Reimbursement Incentive
If you choose me as your Realtor to buy or sell a home, or refer a client who closes with me, I will reimburse your full course payment at closing, whether or not you attended every class.
It is my way of thanking you for trusting me with your real estate goals.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 4 days before the first class will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 4 days or fewer before the first class will receive a full refund minus a $5 cancellation fee.
After the course begins, refunds are prorated for each remaining class, minus the $5 cancellation fee.
Classes already attended or missed are not refundable.
